<p>PURPOSE:To stop the conveyor when there is bending by letting normal conveying by continued by the plural detecting members provided parallel in the forward conveying path of sheets only when the leading edge of the sheet actuates all of the detecting members simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A number of conveying belts 2 are provided to a sheet conveying table 1 to convey a sheet 14 in the arrow direction. Detecting levers 5, 6 turnable with a shaft bar 7' are provided on the way and these detecting levers 5, 6 are held always pressed upward by the resetting force acting upon an operationg rod 11, and are protruding from openings 3, 4. Now, if one of the leading edge of the sheet 14 is bent, the end of the side which is not bent immediately presses the detecting lever 5 and lets it turn downward, but the bent side does not press the detecting lever and therefore the operation delay of the detecting lever 6 causes a relay to actuate, thereby stopping the belts 2.</p> |
