ONNPOLE CONNECTOR OF AERIAL OPTICAL CABLE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the bending, crazing, etc. of the cables at the junction of the cables and connecting box by fixing the connecting box provided with a working platform to a pole and by housing the connection part of the optical cables installed between poles into the connecting box. CONSTITUTION:Support fittings 4 are protruded from a pole 3 and a connecting box 2 is placed thereon. The connecting box 2 is of the construction by which the connection of optical fiber cores and the connection of interstitial wires may be done sufficiently. Optical cables 1, 1 from both directions are inserted into such connecting box 2 and the connecting work of the core wires of the optical fibers and interstitial wires is performed. With such constitution, the connecting box does not directly receive force such as wind pressure even in a strong wind area and therefore the bending and crazing of the cables at the junction of the cables and connecting box may be eliminated.
