METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE WOODEN DECORATIVE MOLDED ITEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a composite wooden decorative molded item which can give simple and beautiful finishing showing neither a step nor a clearance between a wooden decorative portion and a different material-made decorative portion and can reduce a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A sliced veneer 4 obtained by slicing a wooden material and a transparent member 5 composed of a transparent material are prepared. The sliced veneer 4 and the transparent member 5 are arranged side by side in a mold, and a synthetic resin composing a base material 6 is injected on the reverse side of the veneer 4 for injection molding, and the veneer 4 and the transparent member 5 are integrated. Another sliced veneer 4 having an opening 9 passing through in the direction of front and rear sides is prepared and arranged in the mold. A transparent synthetic resin composing a transparent portion 10a is injected at least in a position corresponding to the opening 9 of the reverse side of the veneer 4 for injection molding so as to integrate with the veneer 4.
