<p>In the tube switch unit, pressure and or fluid levels cause magnetic switches to open or close according to the prevailing conditions. The protection tube (1) has an opening connecting its inner chamber (2) to the surrounding environments. A further tube (4) is located the length and parallel to the inner chamber (2) and contains need relay gas sealed contact switches (5, 6). In the inner chamber (2), magnetic floats (7, 8) trapped between fixed retaining posts (9, 10, 11) indicate the fluid state in the chamber and in proximity to the read relays operate them. The ends of the inner chamber (2) are sealed with elasticated membranes (14, 19, 20), one membrane (14) at one end of the chamber and two, one behind the other (19, 20) at the other end. A travel limiting device (26) is centrally mounted at one end of the chamber (2).</p> |
