The installation is intended for placing empty bags with valves on to the filler socket of a continuously rotating filling machine which is fitted with several filler sockets distributed over its circumference. The installation includes devices to lift an empty bag from a storage to open the bag valve and to transfer the bag to a filler socket during its passage. Each filler socket is coordinated with a swivel lever equipped with a bag grip. The stationary lifting device also includes an endless conveyor for the removal of the valve bags positioned in a scaled arrangement. In addition there is a bag separating device, a clamping jaw (27) extending transverse to the conveyor and a suction lifting device.
