<p>The spindle has a bearing housing (1), into which is inserted a sleeve (9) containing a neck bearing (7) and a foot bearing (8) for the spindle shank (12). The sleeve (9) has at the top a mounting (6) with a conically narrowing seat surface (5) which, after being pressed into the bearing housing (1), bears against a counter-seat surface (4) of the latter. At least one of the seat surfaces, for example the seat surface of the mounting (6), has continuous grooves. The webs present between the grooves are consequently deformed during the pressing-in operation. This design requires less precision in the production of the seat surfaces (4, 5) and thereby reduces the production costs. <IMAGE></p> |
