摘要 <p>The drive of a machine tool uses a two speed motor and is designed for optimum chip removal by the cutting tool. The coils are formed to have six connections and 54 coils with uneven sets of windings. These are divided into 18 groups of coils, and the numbers of windings are in the sequence 4, 5, 1, 1, 1, 4, 4, 4, 3, 4, 5, 1, 1, 1, 4, 4, 4, 3. The first fourth and seventh groups form the first half of the first strand of windings, and the eighth, tenth and thirteenth form the other half. The first and second halves of the second strand are formed by the eleventh and fifteenth and by the second and sixth, respectively. The first half of the third strand are the third, fifth, seventh and ninth and th second half are the twelfth, fourteenth, sixteenth and eighteenth.</p>
