The sliding door cupboard has at least two sliding door assemblies which can be moved from a closed position in which the lengthwise edges of the doors abut against each other, to a position in which they are moved parallel to each other on different planes. The sliding doors are designed to move over the entire width of the cupbard. The underneath side of the cupboard has a centre deflector with upward-pointing guide rollers fitting into grooves in the underneath edges of the sliding doors. There are several pins which guide the sliding doors and form their pivot axles.
