Volute spring with min. inherent damping - has rollers between faces of inner and outer rings

The volute spring has inner and outer rings sliding axially in relation to each other. It is designed to give a min. amount of inherent damping. Rollers (5) are mounted between the outer faces (9) of the inner rings and the corresponding inner faces (7) of the outer rings (1). The roller radius can be more than half the distance between the faces, which can both be curved. Alternatively there can be a set of balls in a cage between the inner and outer rings.
