<p>A process and apparatus is described for the formation of a single row of regularly spaced discrete modules of thin products, such as biscuits stacked face to face, from several rows of continuously moving products. As each row of products enters the apparatus, a module of products having a predetermined length is separated from the leading end of the row and is transferred into a pair of carrier fingers which supports the module of products. A module is formed at the end of each row in a timed sequence and the modules of products are then moved through a set of delivery channels by the carrier ringers into a common outlet channel.</p> |
