PURPOSE:To restrain a burr from being produced and to improve the circularity of a commutator by cutting its surface while rotating the commutator in one direction, before making a machinery cut while rotating the commutator in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:When a commutator 5 is cut with a cutter 6 with the commutator rotated in the direction of the arrow A, a burr 9 is produced. In the next process, the commutator is rotated in the direction of the arrow B to be machined with a cutter 7. Thus, the burr 9 of a piece 8 of the commutator is removed, and the circularity can be improved. |
