PURPOSE:To prevent intricating of the device and achieve its miniaturization by disposing the 1st magnetic roll which is rotated by a drive system and the 2nd magnetic roll which is rotated by the attraction force of the 1st roll in parallel therewith. CONSTITUTION:Two magnetic rolls are disposed in the position opposing to a photosensitive drum 1 having electrostatic latent images. More specifically, the device is constituted by the 1st magnetic roll constituted by a cylindrical magnet 2 which is connected at one end of its shaft by a drive system 7 and symmetrically magnetized with 8 poles and a non-magnetic sleeve 3 completely covering this magnet, the 2nd magnetic roll constituted by a cylindrical magnet 12 which is rotated in the opposite direction by the magnetic attraction force of this rotating cylindrical magnet 2 and symmetrically magnetized with 8 poles and a non-magnetic sleeve 13 covering this, a hopper 8 containing magnetic developer and the two defining blades for controlling the amount of the developer depositing on the both rolls. Thereby, the developing time and developing times may be increased and the device made to cope with higher speeds. |
