PURPOSE:To make on-line analysus dependent upon laser Raman possible by using optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:Laser light propagation fiber 2 which is transparent for a laser light and has an internal full-reflection characteristic is arranged between laser light source 1 and laser light condenser lens 3, and Raman light propagation fiber 6 which is transparent for a Raman scattered light and has an internal full-reflection characteristic is arranged between Raman light condenser lens 5 and Ramman spectrometer 7. As a result, laser light source 1 and Raman spectrometer 7 can be installed in the remote place which is not affected by powdery dust, humidity, vibration and temperature change, and on-line analysis dependent upon laser Raman is made possible. Then, the laser light from laser light source 1 is irradiated to sample 4, and the generated Raman scattered light is led to Raman spectrometer 7, thus observing Raman spectrum. |
