<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a caliper and anti-rattle spring from sliding to each other, by forming on it an portion to be inserted in the caliper wondow and also a stopper for limiting the depth of insertion. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 10 of a disc brake is equipped with an inner pad 14 solidly composed of a lining 12 and back plate 13 on one side, and an outer pad 17 solidly composed of a lining 15 and back plate 16 on the other side, with an anti-rattle spring 24 being set between both pads 14, 17 and a caliper 18. An inserted portion 25 to be inserted in a window 23 of the caliper 18 is formed on the spring 24. The portion 25 is symmetrical on both sides, and parallel connectors 29, 30 are extended from the right side 28, for example, to a springer 31, while a stopper 33 is extended from the right side between the connectors 29, 30 for engagement with the caliper 18.</p> |
