Frame for field telecommunications equipment - has fittings for cable drum and equipment drawers permitting rapid erection esp. for military applications

A support frame for telecommunications equipment on the rear of a vehicle for use in the field. Two frame ends (1) are linked by a series of horizontal struts to form guides for unit packages of equipment and spares drawers while a cable drum assembly is fitted to the top on a swivel mounting. The frame allows different combinations of equipment and cable drum to be mounted on the field vehicle for rapid establishment of communications for military or civil use. The units have snap fastening guides for locating on the frames and the whole assembly can be stored ready for fitting to the vehicles.
