摘要 Process comprises submitting the material to the action of an enzymatic complex before extn. in the normal manner. Pref. enzymes are pectinases, esp. an extract of Aspergillus niger active at 55 degrees C and pH 4.5-5; cellulases esp. an extract of Basidiomyces sp. Poris active at 50 degrees C and pH 4.3 and a hemicellulase extract of Aspergillus niger active at 60 degrees C and pH 3.5. The extracts may be used e.g. in pharmaceutical and cosmetic prepns. and as a feed additive. The treatment improves the yield by both softening the material and removing the cellulose walls.
