The teat is made from latex rubber and has its end rolled over to form a strengthened rim (4) for placing over the neck of the comforter. The body (8) of the teat can be made using one layer of material or comprise two or more, these latter being rolled over in the same way. In order to protect the outer surfaces of the rolled edge and to prevent contamination lodging in the narrow joint (10) near the teat body, an additional outer layer (5, 9) of the same material is provided to give a smooth profile (11). |
