A hermetic pressure cooker pan or pot, has two similarly formed lugs 7 mounted on the upper part of the lateral side of the vessel opposing each other. A pressing bridle 8 is fixed on the outer side of the closing lid 3. The pressing bridle has two equally long arms. A closing member 9 is positioned on both ends of the arms of the pressing bridle. These closing members work together with the lugs and press a sealing element 2 situated along the upper circumference of the top of the closing lid to the inner side of the aperture of the vessel-body by means of a power impulse to the lugs, with the aid of the pressing bridle. <IMAGE>
