<p>The cover plate is for a horizontal or vertical positioned surface heating system, where the heater pipes are embedded in the baseplate or run between bosses on it. The baseplate can be covered by heat-distribution metal cladding enclosing the pipes. The cladding comprises weighted metal plates (3), whose edges, partic. near the pipes (2), have supporting profiled strips (7) inserted under them and of elastic material to reinforce them. Weighting can be by one or more additional layers of plates, whose edges and/or corners are similarly reinforced.</p> |
