A method of producing energy from a heat engine using seawater as its heat source relative to melted ice (18) accumulated in a pool hollowed out of the upper surface of a tabular iceberg (1) floating in the sea (2). The evaporator (10) of the heat engine is placed in the sea and its condenser (11) is placed in the pool hollowed out of the upper surface of the iceberg. The heat engine does not need a pump to circulate the working fluid since gravity is sufficient with the evaporator situated below the condenser. <IMAGE> |
