1301776 Glycyrrhetinic acid derivatives KNOLL AG CHEMISCHE FABRIKEN 30 July 1971 [2 Sept 1970] 35958/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises the 30-(1-methyl-4- piperidyl) ester of glycyrrhetinic acid 3-acetate, and its acid addition salts; and the preparation thereof by reacting glycyrrhetinic acid 3-acetate or a functional derivative thereof with 1-methyl- 4-piperidinol, and, when required, salifying the resulting compound. Specified salts are the hydrochloride, sulphate, sulphamate, citrate, phosphate, lactate, tartrate and fumarate. The inventive compounds are said to be anti-inflammatory, and may be made up with carriers into pharmaceutical compositions for oral administration. |
