A suspension bar for files or other similar objects, said bar being provided with a transparent covering under which a label may be inserted, characterized in that the bar has an edge on which may be fitted riders having an extension intended to be lodged under the transparent covering, the latter having slots intended to prevent the lateral displacement of the riders once the latter have been put in place. Riders and labels for use with the suspension bar are also provided.
