<p>The apparatus measures human pulse frequency, having a sensor and a frequency indicator. Both the sensor (14, 15) and also the indicator (6) are mounted on a support (2) fitted round the wrist, typically a band or strap. There can be a clamp (3) combined with a switch (4) initiating the frequency measurement. There can be a display panel, together with an electronic watch module (7), and plugs (12) can be provided for data input and output. The sensor can be a pressure detector, or an acoustic or optical sensor with sender and receiver.</p> |
