Ski with changeable movement characteristics is fitted with a pressure adjustment device (3) which is guided along the upper surfaces of the ski's base plate (1), attached at the ski end to the base plate and controlled by a push-rod (4) in order to adjust the flexibility characteristics of the ski. The pressure adjustment device consists of four pressure change elements (3) each of which is connected to a push-rod. In each case two push-rods (4) are respectively connected to the front or rear end of the ski's base plate. The force required for the adjustment is obtained from a piston moving inside a cylinder sleeve and subjected to force from a pressure medium and controlled by a return spring.
