<p>PURPOSE:To judge the position of the embedded object in the vicinity of ground surface even when the distinguishment from a ground surface reflected wave is impossible, by a method wherein the frequency of the ground embedded object is analyzed to extract characteristic quantity from a result at every measuring point and a range having significant difference is detected. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic wave is transmitted in the ground from a transmitting- receiving element 4 by the electric signal from a transmitter-receiver 5 to be attenuated in the ground while the reflected wave by a ground embedded object is received by the transmitting-receiving element 4 to be converted and the waveform of voltage is amplified by the transmitter-receiver 5 to be recorded on a recorder 17 through an input means 16. This procedure is repeated at every predetermined measuring point and, after the finish of the procedure, the waveform recorded on the recorder 17 is taken out by the command of a control apparatus 15 and a vibration frequency spectrum is formed by a frequency analyzer 18 to be again recorded on the recorder 17. After this operation is finished, peak frequency, a peak value or the like are extracted from the vibration frequency spectrum as the characteristic quantities on the basis of the command of the apparatus 15 by an extraction device 19 to be again recorded on the recorder 17. Further, a significant difference range is detected from the comparison of said characteristic quantities on the basis of the order of the apparatus 15 by a detector 20 and the detection result is displayed on a display device 7.</p> |
