<p>A wobble gear epicyclic gearing has a driven shaft journalled in a hollow first driving shaft, with a first gear on the first driving shaft in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shafts, and a wobble gear meshing with the first gear and having a different number of teeth than the first gear, the wobble gear being mounted on a second driving shaft which is coaxial with the driven shaft and the wobble gear having its axis inclined relative to the axis of the second driving shaft. First and second drive motors are provided for rotating the first and second driving shafts, respectively, the first drive motor being provided with a spring-biased electromagnetic brake operable in response to de-energization of the first drive motor, and an overload disconnecting means provided in a drive transmission between the first drive motor and the first driving shaft.</p> |
