<p>The container, externally fitted with lifting hooks, attachments etc. is of cubic external shape its interior is accessible through a top opening extending across the entire internal cross-section and closed by a shielding liq. The lifting devices are fitted to the outside of the lid, while locating devices, in the walls of the vessel secure the transporting flask against movement during transportation. These locating devices are pref. adjustable from outside the vessel. Used for the final disposal of radioactive waste in "lost" flasks.</p> |
