<p>The system prevents the blockage by sludge of narrow outlets from vessels and separators in which sinks are formed. A component(4), kept in motion by the fluid flow, is inserted in the outlet, and is typically a loose flexible bar, or may alternatively be a suspended chain. The system requires no external power source and cleaning out only at infrequent intervals, being particularly suitable where the slude is liable to set hard.</p> |
