In a bobbin creel for the textile industry, an adjustable thread-loop tensioning device (14, 15) is arranged for the thread system of each creel level (A, B), at the outlet from the creel, parallel to the beam receiving the threads, at which thread-loop tensioning device (14, 15) the loop angle for the individual threads of the thread system is variable, threads coming from the rear creel end receiving a smaller loop than the threads (22) coming from the front creel end. The thread-loop tensioning device (15) preferably has three loop elements, the first and third loop element (28, 30) being arranged in a fixed manner and the centre loop element (29) being arranged so as to be raisable and lowerable. The aim of the arrangement is to obtain, at the outlet from the bobbin creel, within the thread system subdivided by levels, threads of the same length and same tension. <IMAGE>
