The driving mechanism for the shaping machine has a crankshaft driven by a motor. The crankshaft has a crank mechanism (8) with a rod (10) connected to an arm (9). The rotary movement of the crankshaft (13) produces an oscillating movement on the arm (9) at the other end of which is a shaft with an eccentri cam (7). The oscillating movement of the arm (9) imparts a reciprocating movement of the tool holder (5) by means of a slide block.
