<p>A scanning arrangement moves a spot produced by an electro-magnetic beam on a plane surface over this surface, the spot being pref. a light spot and the surface pref. light-sensitive. The source of radiation propagates parallel, or nearly parallel, beams and is pref. a laser beam. The source itself is stationary, the movement of the spot arising through swivelling of at least one component of the beam. The mirror (2) is movable (arrow 6) to-and-fro on a rail (3). Alternatively, or additionally, the radiation source (1) is pivotable (arrow 7).</p> |
