摘要 PURPOSE:To perform error detection correction with a high precision by simplifying the constitution of a Hamming code check circuit by the time division processing. CONSTITUTION:Four bytes of an error detection code formed by (MXN)-byte data (M is an integer equal to or larger than 1, and N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) are subjected to 1/4 selection by selection circuit 10 controlled by control circuit 40 and become one-byte data formed by data bits D0 to D7 and are inputted to Hamming register 30 through exclusive OR circuits 20 to 27. This circuit 40 outputs byte designation signal 400, initializing signal 420 of register 30, input effective designation signals 410 to 413, etc., and circuit 10 and register 30 are subjected to the time division processing to synthesize successive preceding intermediate Hamming bit codes formed in register 30, and exclusive OR circuit 31 generates the Hamming bit code. The check of this code is similarly subjected to the time division processing to perform the processing of multi-byte error detection code data with a high precision in a simple constitution.
