The motor-car seat structure consists of a frame (1-6) all round made of metal tubing, and enclosed to form a ring. Between the front (1) and back (2) sides of the frame are hooked a number of springs (7). Each spring (7) has a first part at each end, facing downwards and with a cross-piece (8) underneath the upper plane limit of the frame. The cross-pieces (8) form anchorage points for the inner upholstery of the seat. Metal wire pieces (12) act as fixtures for the inner stuffing where the cross-pieces are inadequate. Attached to the frame are hinges fixing the seat to the vehicle floor.
|
