1515095 Dishwashing machines BOSCHSIEMENS HAUSGERATE GmbH 26 Jan 1977 [12 March 1976] 03107/77 Heading A4F A dishwashing machine comprises upper and lower crockery baskets 15, 18 in a washing chamber 11, the lower basket 18 having a bottom 20 inclined to the horizontal (either front to back, as shown, or side to side, as in Fig. 3 not shown) the bottom wall 27 of the chamber 11 extending from the base 29 of the machine housing upwardly generally parallel to the bottom 20 of the basket 18 so as to define a triangular-section space in which the parts of the machine such as water circulating pump 34 and its drive motor 35 are located. The wall 27 may incorporate a sieve 32 at the entrance to a duct 33 leading from the sump 31. Water can be pumped by pump 34 to rotatable spray arms 17, 37. The baskets 15, 18 have guide rollers such as 21, 22 so that they can be withdrawn through a front bottom-hinged door 14. The machine may include more than the two baskets shown. |
