A process for preparing a gypsum which is suitable for the preparation of anhydrite binders having improved properties, which process comprises treating a natural or synthetic gypsum in such a manner that the sodium content of the gypsum is less than 500 ppm and the fluorine content of the gypsum is greater than 2000 ppm. |
