The placard panel connecting mechanism has a plug-in blades (11, 13) which rest on the narrow sides of the panels and have a width about the same as the panel thickness. The panels are connected together by linking the adjacent plug-in blades. The parallel and adjacent blades are surrounded by an elastic ring (16) which is arranged in the form of a figure 8. Each loop of this 8 is tensioned via one of the adjacent blades. The ring may be of round or rectangular cross-section.
