The sliding roof part (1) is supported by means of conventional load-bearing rollers (7) on the truss (6) running in the displacement direction. The truss (4) on the outer side of the roof does not run parallel, but obliquely to the displacement direction. The load-bearing rollers, mounted thereon, for the sliding roof part (1) are designed as load-bearing rolls (5) of considerable width. When the sliding roof part (1) is closed, said rolls are located with their outer region on the obliquely running truss (4) and, when the sliding roof part (1) is open, they are located with their inner region thereon. <IMAGE>
