Mortar compsn. contg. clay-rich sand - requires less cement and no bentonite

Mortar compsn. uses sand contg. 12-27% of clay. Since less cement is required than with conventional sands, 1-5 pts. of sand may be used/pt. cement. It is not necessary to add bentonite as a fluidiser. The mortar may be used whenever high mechanical strength is not essential.
