PURPOSE:To check the error of the transfer control signal sent from the memory unit by the operation control unit by sending the information necessary for the diagnosis of the transfer control circuit in the memory unit to the operation control unit. CONSTITUTION:The data transfer is carried out between operation control unit 21 and memory unit 27, and the diagnosis of the transfer control circuit is carried out by applying memory control signal 22 containing the diagnosis command to unit 27 from 21. At unit 27, activation signal 29 is given to memory part 38 from timing control circuit 28 in response to the diagnosis of the transfer control circuit. With decoding of the diagnosis command through decoding means 30, transfer inhibition indication signal 41 is transmitted. Based on signal 41, circuit 28 decides whether or not some of plural answer signals 23 should be sent to unit 21. Thus, the state of signal 23 is examined at the operation control circuit to the command to check the operation of the answer signal production circuit. |
