PURPOSE:To improve homogeneity and thermal stability of piezo-electric characteristic of the porcelain by performing a heat treatment to sintering substance of two-or three- component system containing PbTiO3 and PbZrO3 at a specified temperature in a proper oxygen atmosphere after making it small fragment. CONSTITUTION:A hot press magnetic material, which is a composite in the neighborhood of morphotropic phase boundary consisting of tetragonal system and rhombohedral system phases in the two-component system of PbTiO3 and PbZrO3 or the three-component system of said two ones and Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3, is made small fragment, heat-treated at 400 to 950 deg.C under one or more of atmospheric pressure of oxygen for 30 minutes or more, and is polarized. As necessary, it is heat- aged at 120 to 250 deg.C after polarization. By this way, a good piezo-electric material with homogeneity and thermal stability can be obtained. |
