A dentifrice composition for combatting dental plaque comprises a mixture of a dentifrice paste and an acceptable, water soluble disclosing agent in a quantity sufficient to indicate dental plaque. Preferably the disclosing agent has a predominantly green colour formed by a mixture of Sulphan Blue and Tartrazine Yellow present in the composition in an amount by weight of 0,2 to 0,45% and 0,04 to 0,1% respectively. |
