PURPOSE:To facilitate operation of the title polisher and enable the polisher to cope with an abnormal condition automatically and suitably by performing automatic connection and disconnection of an electrode tool driving source and an electrolytic power source and concentrically controlling them. CONSTITUTION:When electrode tool 1 provided with abrasive material 3 is pressed to face 9 to be polished by predetermined force, electrolytic soln. pass switch 8 actuates to start supply of an electrolytic soln. The flow rate of the soln. is detected with detector 10, and when it exceeds a predetermined value, controller 13 sends a signal to actuate driving source switch 11, thereby rotating tool 1 with driving motor 5. The no. of rotations is detected with detector 6, and when it exceeds a predetermined value, controller 13 sends a signal to actuate electrolytic power source switch 12, thereby supplying electrolytic power to electrode 2 through carbon brush 7 to perform electrolytic combined polishing. On the other hand, when the no. of rotations falls below a predetermined value, the electrolytic power source is cut off. When the supply of the electrolytic soln. falls below a predetermined value, the driving source and the electrolytic power source are cut off. |
