Signal lamp with integrated memory - has electroluminescent diode and feed relay associated with high permeability magnetic circuit

The signal lamp has an electroluminescent diode connected to a continuous current source through a reed relay (1). The reed relay is enclosed in a control winding (2) through which a current pulse is passed. The current pulse causes closure of the reed relay contacts. The assembly comprising reed relay and control winding is unwound by a magnetic circuit having a cylindrical metallic envelope (10) of permeable magnetic material. The magnetic circuit is closed at a fixed end by a metallic disc (11) and is closed at a second end by a first cylindrical magnet (14) and a second rotatable magnet (16). The axes of the two magnets are at right angle to each other. The magnetic force of the second magnetic is greater than that of the first. The second magnet is connected to a pushbutton (20).
