PURPOSE:To pinch a tip seal member and prevent its drop by bending part of a tip seal groove on the tip seal member coupled at the tip section of laps engaged together of a fixed scroll and a rotary scroll. CONSTITUTION:When the rotary scroll 13 of a compressor 1 is driven via a shaft 7, a compression chamber formed between it and a fixed scroll 12 is compressed, a compressed fluid is fed by pressure to a discharge port 12b from an intake port 12a. A tip seal groove 17 coupled with a tip seal member 18 is formed at the tip section 16 of laps 14 and 15 engaged with each other of the scrolls 12 and 13. In this case, part of the tip seal groove 17 is bent to form multiple projections 19-21. The tip seal member 18 is compression-deformed and pinched by the projections 19-21, thus its drop from the tip seal groove 17 is prevented. |
