PURPOSE: To perform the image processing by a picture element unit, using a batch system with fast processing speed, by merging the selected picture element of each first and second batch and preparing a shift batch. CONSTITUTION: A required mask is performed for an image memory 302 via a graphic processor 308 according to a raster operation, first and second batch planes formed by the plural picture elements of matrix arrays are formed and the planes are stored in an input batch register 312. The new batch that the picture element selected via an X shift and merge circuit 314 and a Y shift circuit 316 is shifted is stored in a line storage RAM 318. An OR is performed for the new batch and the batch of the register 312 in a logic unit 317, and the shift batch that the selected picture element of the first batch and the selected picture element of the second batch are merged is prepared. By this constitution, the image processing by the batch system at fast processing speed and by a picture element unit can be performed. |
