PURPOSE:To obtain a settled thermal electromotive force even if primary flame length varies in such a way that primary flame is separated from second flame, a thermocouple is provided at the position of 12-35 mm from the primary flame port between a primary flame port and a secondary flame port. CONSTITUTION:In concurrence of providing an inner cylinder 2 whose base part is connected to a gas nozzle 8 into a bottomed outer cylinder 3 whose upper extremity is made to be a secondary flame port 4 with making its upper extremity into a primary flame port 6 which is lower than the secondary flame port 4, an auxiliary air port 5 is provided at a side bulkhead of the outer cylinder 3 at the position which is lower than th primary flame port 6. An oxygen deficient condition detecting thermocouple 9 is provided at the position where distance S from the primary flame port is within the range of 12-35 mm between the primary flame port 6 and the secondary flame port 4. |
