The machine is used for automatically assembling lined carier bags, these having an outer envelope and an inner lining. These items are manufactured and presented separately to the machine. Bags which have coinciding edges for linear and envelopes have these elements in line and adjacent, the bottom of the liner facing the mouth of the envelope. Suction holds both mouths open and a retractable blade pushes the bottom of the liner to the bottom of the envelope. Bags with overlapping edges use facing openings, the blade turning the liner inside out. |
