Rotary anode for X=ray tube - has numerous holes acting as distributed black-body radiators cooling anode efficiently

The rotary anode provides efficient coding by radiating the heat to the outside. The surface of the anode (10) outside its focal path (19, 20) is blackened. On the side of the anode away from the focal path, numerous blackening holes are located in the body of the anode. These holes are relatively large and the distance between them relatively small. The holes are 10-1000 microns deep, pref. 200 microns, and of the anode is 2-20mm thick they have a depth of 10mm. They act as small black body radiators.
