<p>An alkaline aqueous emulsion of a rubbery vinyl pyridine copolymer is stabilized by the presence of a minor amount by weight of a resorcinol-formaldehyde novolak wherein said emulsion is free of soaps added after the polymerization of the copolymer. High H-adhesions are obtained with cord dips made using the stabilized emulsion.</p> |
