This gun produces, itself, within its own body and without having recourse to an external supply of compressed air, the pressurised air intended for spraying liquids or for inflating pneumatic articles. This compressed air is obtained by a diaphragm-type compressor (10) housed in the gun's handle and driven by an electric motor also housed in the same handle. It possesses a header (collector) (1) acting as an air buffer and intended to absorb the pulses produced by the reciprocating movement of the compression diaphragm. It may be fitted with an inflation coupler fixed in place of the spray head (3), which coupler is intended for blowing and also for inflating any pneumatic article up to a pressure of 3 kg/cm<2>. <IMAGE>
